One of the reasons I like Tearfund’s Carbon Fast for Lent: the easy stuff counts, too.Today’s mitzvah: Turn off the lights when you leave a room. Do the same for any unnecessary lights you notice at school or work.

I am enjoying your Carbon Fast! In fact, I'm wishing I had jumped on board a bit earlier with it!
I've ordered my bags (through the nifty nonprofit site)--although I went with gender-neutral orange so Rob can use them, too!

I owe you an email (I have a chapter due on Monday and will be useless until it's finished. I just deleted my own comment -- *beyond* useless). I ordered some striped bags last week -- but I may have to go back for hot pink just to counter the winter blahs. I hope the bags are as nice as they look so I will be inspired to use them. Nice of you not to force the fuschia on Rob!
