I have been a Bad Blogger, with infrequent posts. Now that the endless winter is finally abating, it’s hard to stay inside and focus on the computer!The search for easier solutions to all sorts of things (as well as this week’s earlier catalog post) reminded me of a web resource I’ve wanted to plug for some time now. Ideal Bite is a daily tip site (by web or email) that offers “bite-size tips for light green living.” Its target audience is women who want to be more environmentally involved but don’t have a lot of time. In style and tone (“a sassier shade of green”) the site reminds me most of Daily Candy — a happy mix of practicality and irreverence.
Today’s mitzvah is in the form of an anecdote:
Thoreau: “Simplify, simplify, simplify.”
Emerson: “Perhaps one ‘simplify’ would have sufficed.”
’Nuff said?
