Tangible Karma Day

April 5 is Tangible Karma Day. (Hey, it must be true: I read it on the web!) How to observe the day? “Set aside 1 hour of this day to purposefully become aware of the needs of those they are in contact with and actively do something to help fulfill those needs.” Since I didn’t learn about this until the day, I’m making an executive decision to extend it through the weekend.

It’s not a bad way to spend a Sunday — now that the weather is nice in most places, this is also a useful walking or biking meditation. I’m going to meditate on this myself over the weekend. I’ll post the results on Monday!

Today’s mitzvah: Is there a person or group in your orbit to whom you could offer tangible assistance?
